About Stage Alchemy Theatre Club Where Creativity Takes Centre Stage. Stage Alchemy Theatre Club is a creative theatre design club for young people aged 8–18, based at The Glebe Centre, Murton. Our weekly workshops focus on the exciting world behind the scenes, giving young people the opportunity to explore scenic arts, set design, prop making, costume design and creative storytelling. Through hands-on projects inspired by theatre, literature and popular culture, participants develop artistic skills, confidence, teamwork and problem-solving in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. Whether your child dreams of designing spectacular sets, creating magical costumes, building props or bringing imaginative worlds to life, Stage Alchemy offers a unique space where creativity can flourish. Our sessions are designed for all abilities—no previous theatre or art experience is needed. Every term follows a new creative theme, ending with a showcase where families can celebrate the incredible work created throughout the programme. At Stage Alchemy, we believe every young person has the imagination to create something extraordinary.
